Personal Devices and Technology Policy

At St Marks Preschool, the use of personal mobile phones and any personal device capable of taking photographs, recording video or audio, accessing the internet, or sending and receiving communications is not permitted around children by parents/ carers/ visitors to the setting. This includes mobile phones, smart watches, smart glasses, tablets, cameras, recording devices, drones and any similar technology. Parents, carers and visitors who need to use a device while on the premises will be asked to move to an appropriate area away from the children, such as the office, or to leave the preschool building. These procedures help protect children’s privacy, confidentiality and safeguarding at all times.
