Autumn Treasure bags!
To all parents and carers, this week your child will be brining home their very own Autumn treasure bag. This term we are focusing on the topic 'Autumn', we will be looking closely at the changes in environment. To support and extend your child's learning we would love it if you and your child could take part in an Autumn treasure hunt. Fill up the bag with any Autumn items you may find on your hunt and bring them back to preschool so your child can show their peers and talk about their findings. Don't forget to have lots of fun!!
Our community garden plot!
We have been very busy revamping our garden plot at Victoria park! Take a look at our before and after shots...
We want all our families, parents and children past and parents to get involved to by planting your own plants/flowers or seeds. You can get a name tag from us at preschool and place it next to your flower/plant, that way you and your child(ren) can show off their hard work. We have left plenty of room for all our families so please visit our plot and enjoy being green fingered!

Tapestry Workshop
On Tuesday the 5th of February at 5 pm we will be holding a parent Tapestry workshop.
As most of you are aware an online system called 'Tapestry' is used to observe and track
your child's development. We can not stress how important it is for parents and carers to
work in partnership with us here at preschool. We encourage all our parents to contribute
and supporting your child with their learning at home.
We feel like the workshop will be very beneficial to all our families!
The workshop will be approximately 30-45 minutes where we will show you how to
upload a detailed and useful observations from home, We will be talking about what things
we would like to see your children learning at home and we will be talking about the
'Early Years Foundation Stage' which will give you more of an understanding on how
we track your child's development at Pre-school, while encouraging you to use this at home.
Each parent that attends the workshop will receive a raffle ticket and then will be entered
in to a draw to win a £10 gift voucher.
We really hope you can all make it!
