Safeguarding / Information Sharing Procedures

All accidents occurring whilst in the Preschool setting are recorded on an incident record form with all details to include: date, time, the member of staff who responded, any action taken, and treatment administrated. Parents must sign any record involving their child. Parents will be asked to inform staff of any bumps or bruises on their child prior to arriving at Pre-School. They will then be asked to complete an incoming injury form. Any member of staff who becomes aware of any signs of significant harm to a child, will report it immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Officer Carla. Carla will then decide on which course of action to take, this information may be shared with St Helen's Safeguarding Partnership.
