"I have over 7 years experience working in the child care sector. Within this time I have worked with children aged from 6 months to 5 year old. I have worked as an early years practitioner, and worked my way up to a managerial role. I also have experience working within the foundation stage of a school, where I worked with children in Pre-school and reception. It was within the school that I found a passion and a skill for teaching phonics! Which led me to create and implement St. Mark's sessions of phonics for our three/four year olds, and also support our younger children develop their early literacy skills. I am a very creative person and use this skill to create fun and stimulating activities and an environment to help children develop and reach their full potential! I am very passionate about offering the highest standard of learning, care and teaching to each child and enjoy watching them meeting their potential! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family."

"I have worked in retail for 13 years when I decided to take the plunge and have a change in career. Child care is always something I have been passionate about, with having young children in my family, I found myself interested in providing fun and engaging activities that supported their development. In March 2020 I enrolled on to the Child Development course. In September 2020 I completed work experience at St Mark's Preschool while working towards a NVQ level 3 in childcare and Development. In March 2021, I began to work at St Mark's Preschool as a member of the team! I love working at St Mark's Preschool, I finally feel like I am where I am meant to be! Working with children everyday is rewarding, knowing that I have made and continue to make a difference in the children's lives makes everything feel worth while. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, going for walks with our dogs and having family days out! I have two children of my own, Chloe and Alfie and now I have another one on the way! "

"I am excited to start my training and gain my experience here at St Mark's Preschool. I am keen to work with children, help them learn and grow! I am looking forward to making a positive impact on the children in my care, watching the progress they make during their time at St Mark's. When I applied for the position at St Marks, I loved how they take all the children on regular outings into the environment, I am looking forward to being a part of this. In my spare time, I like to spend my time with my family and friends. I also love going to the gym to keep healthy and active."
