Confidentiality

At St Marks Preschool, we respect every child and family’s right to privacy and treat personal information as confidential. Information shared with us is only discussed with relevant members of staff who need it to support your child and is stored securely. We will not share confidential information with outside agencies without appropriate permission, unless we are legally required to do so or there is a safeguarding concern where information must be shared to protect a child. All staff understand their responsibilities around confidentiality, and we also ask parents/carers to respect the privacy of other children, families and staff and not share confidential preschool matters outside the setting.
