'We're Going On A Bear Hunt' topic!

Our first topic in Pre-school is focused on the story, 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt'.We introduced the story to our children and they loved it straight away! We then introduced our newest member of St.Marks

Pre-school 'Elvis the bear'. Elvis's name was given to him after we decided to hand over the responsibility to both our children and families to name him before drawing his name at random. Elvis the bear then needed a special home! We decided to change our role play area over to a bear hunt cave and created a bear hunt tuff tray to allow the children to role play and bring the story to life! We enjoyed making muddy foot prints, mud painting and we even went on our very own bear hunt in the park. "I love this bear hunt!", one of our children said.
