Occupations

This week we have been learning all about different occupations. We have been learning about the role of a dentist, we shared our experiences from when we visited the dentist ourselves and even turned our role play area into a dentist. We also introduced the role of the fire brigade, the children loved pretending to put the fire out, we even had a real life fire drill! We was then very lucky to get a visit from our local police officers, we took the opportunity to ask the officers all about their job, look at the equipment they use and even got to try on their uniform. To finish the visit off we got the chance to look inside the police car. Callum the police officer made the lights flash and told us all to cover our ears as he set the loud sirens off. We had a fun afternoon!
